Exciting Partnership with Liverpool FC International Academy
We are thrilled to announce that Irene McCormack Catholic College (IMCC) is officially affiliated with the Liverpool Football Club International Academy (LFC IA) in Australia!
World-Class Football Training at IMCC
Launching in 2025, we are proud to partner with Liverpool Football Club International Academy. LFC IA is the global youth coaching arm of Liverpool Football Club, an English Premier League club. The International Academy delivers the same coaching curriculum and techniques used with the club’s own young players at the Academy in Liverpool.
Their vision is to be the world leader in developing young people through football. They seek to partner with schools that share their belief that well-run, values-driven sports programs and extracurricular activities can support stronger education outcomes, helping the students of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
About the Partnership
Launching in Term 2 of 2025, the program is designed specifically for Irene McCormack Catholic College, embodying the LFC IA way. IMCC students now have access to a training program straight from LFC IA, focused on building not only technical football skills but also fostering a mindset of excellence, determination, and teamwork.
LFC IA will provide cutting-edge development and training methodology, delivering an authentic High Performance Training program for students of all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned footballer or just starting out, this program offers something for everyone!
Who Can Participate?
The program is available to Year 7 to 12 students enrolled and attending Irene McCormack Catholic College. If you wish to enrol your child at IMCC, please visit our Enrolment page for application information.
The Liverpool Way
‘The Liverpool Way’ is founded on four core values: Ambition, Commitment, Dignity, and Unity.

School Holiday Clinics
Designed to deliver an authentic LFC experience, learning to play ‘The Liverpool Way,’ the School Holiday Clinics consist of three-hour sessions over three days. From mastering ball control to refining dribbling, passing, and shooting techniques, the clinics offer both education and entertainment. Delivered by accredited LFC International Academy coaching team members, players will engage in expert skill sessions drawn from the LFC Academy in the UK. These sessions are tailored to suit individual player abilities, ensuring holistic development to showcase skills in mini-tournaments and small-sided games, where fun and competition mix. The player who receives the LFC value award will receive exclusive prizes revealed on the final day of the clinic.
