IMCC gave me the foundation to excel in my tertiary studies. After four years of studying pharmacy at Curtin University and a year of internship, I am now a registered pharmacist working at Currambine Pharmacy. I was recently honoured at the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia’s WA Excellence Awards as 2023 Intern of the Year (Keiran received this award for showing excellent leadership potential, a willingness to learn and be involved, and an eagerness to bring others along on the journey).
My advice to future students and graduates is to always follow your dreams and work hard to achieve them. Do things you enjoy and always take time to thank people that help you along the way.

Kurt performs at many venues throughout Perth including our wonderful Optus Stadium. As a one-man band, he incorporates a large amount of crowd participation, making audiences become part of the musical experience.
Kurt released his debut EP in 2017. We congratulate Kurt on his continuing success.

IMCC gave me the opportunities to pursue new interests in writing, music and the arts, and supported me in finding my career direction and applications for university study.
After six (long) years at the University of Western Australia, I am currently working as a junior doctor in WA's busy health system. I have published several research articles in the field of mental health and medicine, and play in a pop-rock band with a few other Doc's in my spare time.
My two-cents to future aspirants, in whatever path life takes you: don't forget to breathe!
Find time to do things you love and be sure to say 'cheers' to all the good people in your life.
