Sacramental Program

The Roman Catholic Church has seven Holy Sacraments that are visible rites seen as signs and channels for seeking the grace of God to all those who receive them with the proper disposition. Of the seven Sacraments, Irene McCormack Catholic College generally supports students and staff in the preparation for the Sacraments of Baptism, Penance, Confirmation, and Eucharist,

Irene McCormack Catholic College complements the Sacramental program at St Andrew’s Parish by assisting students and staff to complete the programs before receiving the Sacrament.

Preparation for sacraments is family-focused, parish-based and Catholic school supported. Irene McCormack Catholic College respects the primary role of the family in the faith education of their children and supports the family in the sacramental preparation of children. The College works with the St Andrew’s Parish in inviting students into the Sacraments; preparing for them through Irene McCormack Catholic College and celebrating the sacraments through the Parish.
